How Do You Use Hot Chocolate Sticks?
To use hot cocoa spoons DIY, add about 6 ounces of hot milk or water to a mug. Dunk in hot chocolate spoons and stir while the chocolate melts.
I prefer to use milk. It will need to be hot enough to melt the chocolate, so let it cool before letting children drink.
How Do I Make Hot Chocolate Better?
I highly recommend using milk with these hot cocoa spoons. It gives it a creamier taste.
You can also add fun toppings like mini marshmallows, peppermint pieces, and whipped cream.
How to Melt Chocolate for Hot Cocoa Spoons
You can microwave chocolate chips to melt them, but I recommend using a double boiler. You can also use your Instant Pot as a double boiler to melt chocolate chips.
If you do microwave your chocolate chips, use short bursts of 30 seconds at a time. Be careful not to burn your chocolate!
You can also add 1 teaspoon of refined coconut oil per cup of chocolate chips. This makes the chocolate firmer when it sets up and gives it a nice gloss.
