I used an assortment of cookies and strawberries, but you can use your favorite dippers.

- Christmas Peeps (these are so much better freeze dried!)
- Unfrosted cut out cookies
- Oreo Cookies
- Teddy bear crackers
- Rice Krispie treats
- Mini brownies
- Mini blondies
- Mini cupcakes
- Licorice cut into 1-2 inch pieces
- Fresh grapes, strawberries, or kiwi
- Dried apricots or figs
- Walnuts, pecans, or almonds
- Pretzels
- Gummy bears
- Small dish of honey or jam for dipping or drizzling

Christmas Dessert Board Tips
Although this is a fairly simple recipe, here are some tips for creating a Christmas frosting board:
- You can use canned frosting ro make your favorite buttercream frosting recipe.
- Buttercream frosting has oil in it that could stain a wooden cutting board. You can lay down a piece of parchment paper to absorb the oil.
- Choose your favorite dippers for your frosting board. You don't need to use every idea listed above.
- Set extra dippers aside to refill. You can also add more icing as the party goes on.
- I made a cut gnome, but you can make a different shape.

Here's what you need to make a Christmas dessert board:
- Can of vanilla frosting
- 1/2 pound sliced strawberries
- Vanilla wafer cookies
- Marshmallows
- Cookies and other treats
How to Make Gnome Buttercream Board
Step #1
On a cutting board or other platter, spread out the buttercream frosting to make a beard.
Step #2
Place sliced strawberries around the frosting to make a gnome hat.
Step #3
Place the marshmallow on top of the hat to create a ball.
Step #4
Use the vanilla wafer to create a gnome nose.
Step #5
Spread the dippers around the buttercream frosting.
