The holiday season is synonymous with joy and indulgence, and what better way to celebrate than with a delightful Tipsy Peppermint Mocha Cocktail? This is an easy drink to make by the glass, and it's perfect for holiday parties.
Kahlua Peppermint Mocha Recipe
Picture this: a cozy winter evening, twinkling lights, and a velvety Peppermint Mocha Cocktail in hand. This is a festive drink that's perfect for a Christmas or New Year's Eve party.
Peppermint mochas are my favorite drinks in the winter. I make a peppermint mocha coffee creamer to use in my morning coffee. I also love these peppermint hot cocoa bombs.
There are several peppermint cocktail recipes, but this is my favorite. It's rich and creamy, and the peppermint and chocolate complement each other for a delicious adult drink.

Peppermint Mocha Cocktail Ingredients
Here's what you need to make this Kahlua peppermint mocha:
Kahlua. Kahlua is made with Arabica coffee beans and rum. Instead of brewing coffee, I use this liqueur for a more complex flavor.
Peppermint Vodka. I used Smirnoff Peppermint Twist vodka, but you can use your favorite brand.
Heavy Cream. I recommend using heavy cream for a creamy and decadent tipsy peppermint mocha. However, you can use whole half and half or whole milk. It will not be as creamy.
Chocolate Syrup. Use Hershey's Syrup or make your own chocolate syrup recipe. I also like using White Chocolate syrup.
Crushed Peppermint. You can crush candy canes or buy crushed peppermint to use to rim the glass.
Garnishes. You can add shaved chocolate or a candy cane for garnish if desired.
Cocktail Shaker. Use a cocktail shaker to chill the ingredients without watering them down.
How to Make a Peppermint Mocha Cocktail
Step #1
Coat the rim of a glass with chocolate syrup and roll in crushed peppermint bits.
Step #2
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Step #3
Add the Kahlua, peppermint vodka, and heavy cream to the shaker bottle. Shake well. Pour the liquid into the glass.
Garnish with a candy candy if desired.
Enjoy your Kahlua peppermint mocha! You can also double or triple it and place in a pitcher. The refrigerate until ready to drink.
