Peeps are an iconic Easter treat, and I buy them every year for my kids.  They like to eat them plain, but I prefer them in a Peep smore dip with graham crackers.

Peeps are available in several flavors, so you can even get creative with your choices.  The pink, blue, purple, and yellow Peeps are pretty for the season, but this would also be good with Rice Krispies Peeps or even the Dr. Pepper Peeps.

Why You'll Love Peep Smore Dip 

Easy to make.  This Easter dessert dip is so easy to make, even if you don't bake a lot.  The hardest part of making it is unwrapping the candy!

Easy to customize.  You can very easily customize your Easter Peep s'mores dip recipe.  Use your favorite Peep flavors and colors, or you can even use other holiday themed marshmallows to make this year round.

Kids can make it.  Kids love to help in the kitchen, and this is a great one for them.  You'll need to assist with the oven and make sure they don't burn themselves, but kids can help assemble the ingredients.

It's yummy.  S'mores are a fun dessert, and most everyone loves them.  Since it's not quite summer yet, serve this yummy Peep smore dip instead.

Easter Peep S'mores Dip Ingredients

Easter Peeps.  The star of the recipe is Easter Peeps.  These are available in so many fun new flavors, but we used traditional marshmallow flavors.  (Psst...if you love Peeps, try freeze dried Peeps!  They are delicious!)

Chocolate Chips.  You can use a bag of your favorite chocolate chips to make this Easter dessert dip.  I prefer to use either Nestle chocolate chips or your favorite milk chocolate chips.

Dippers.  I used honey graham crackers for dipping.  You can also use pretzel sticks, vanilla wafer cookies, or sliced apples.

What You Need for Peep Smore Dip

• 3 packages of Peeps
• 2 12-ounce bags of chocolate chips (about 3 cups)
• Graham crackers for dipping

How to Make Peep Easter Dessert Dip

Step #1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step #2

Pour the chocolate chips into an 9x9 baking pan.  Top with Peeps.  Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Step #3

Let cool slightly until it is safe to eat.  Use graham crackers to dip unto the melted chocolate and gooey marshmallows.
